In this next series of articles, I will be looking at the Pilates principles. As you have probably seen me mention before, I believe the principles are the most important part of any Pilates class. Without them we really aren't going to get the benefit of Pilates.
The first principle we will look at is Alignment.
One of the very first qualifications I carried out on my route to becoming a Therapist was a diploma in Biomechanics Coaching. Before, during and after completion of this qualification I can safely say "what is biomechanics" or something similar is the most question I get asked most.
